This paper proposes a novel electrolytic-free quasi-Z-Source Ćuk LED driver for automotive applications. Compared to the traditional converter, first merit of converter is higher gain, which makes it apt switch between multiple Secondly, proposed combines inherent characteristics load operate in wide range Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM), so inductors can assist energy storage, and only small capacitance required. Thirdly, be integrated use one core, capacitors are electrolytic-free, will benefit integration long life. All merits important application. Detailed analysis design steps presented. Then, with help simulation software Saber, several key parts simulated. Finally, prototype controlled by micro control unit stm32f103c8t6 built, feasibility verified experiment results.
